*** Reservations ***
25% deposit required to hold or reserve any animal. Deposits are non-refundable, but transferable. The balance must be paid in full within 30 days of the initial payment unless arrangements are made prior to sale. After that a reminder will be sent. You will have a week to respond and make the final payment. If the final payoff amount is not then completed, you will be refunded the amount you paid MINUS the 25% deposit paid and there will be no transfer option allowed.
*** Payments ***
Methods of payment accepted are Cash in person, Paypal, Venmo, Cashapp, Square, and credit card over the phone. I will NOT write down credit card numbers when taken over the phone and will provide a confirmation number at that time. We can also accept checks if you wish to mail them in. We will NOT ship until the check or money order has cleared and been in our account for one week.
*** Shipping ***
We ship hub to hub using FedEx Next Day Priority using Ship Your Reptiles on Tuesdays and Wednesdays weather permitting. I will resume shipping when the night time temperatures are above 38f, and daytime highs are below 100f at both locations.
We strictly adhere to SYR shipping and packaging guidelines.
Phase22 packs are often included along with any hot or cold packs and all new shipping materials with every order.
Know your state and local laws. It is your responsibility to know these before making a purchase. I will NOT knowingly break, disobey, or circumvent laws. This includes “brown-boxing” or shipping inappropriately just to cut shipping costs. The sellers doing this are only giving USFWS more reason to regulate the hobby or end it entirely.
*** Public Meetups ***
Public meetups will be handled in a case by case basis. We operate ON TIME. If either party is running behind they MUST inform the other party before the agreed time of arrival. In the case the other party is running late we will wait 15 minutes after the meetup before leaving. We will wait an additional 15 minutes in the case that the purchaser has made a deposit. We will attempt contact before leaving.
*** Unattended Children ***
Children left unattended at our tables will be towed away at owner’s expense.
*** Support after the sale ***
We make ourselves available to provide reasonable support via email, text, and messaging platforms for the life of the animal. In addition to 402 Exotics LLC, we have full time jobs and family duties. We try to reply to most messages in the evenings within 24-48 hours.
*** Health concerns ***
NON DOA issues must be reported within 4 hours from the time the animal was recieved. If you do not contact us within this period, we have no choice but to ASSUME that the shipment went well and that you the purchaser are happy with the transaction. Four hours is more than enough time to get home and do a thorough health assesment.
Geckos drop their tails, often for no apparent reason. Because of this, we cannot be held responsible for tails dropped during shipping or while under our care. No refunds will be given for dropped tails.
*** DOA’s ***
DOA’s must be reported within 1 hour from the time picked up from the FedEx HUB. In the case of DOA, seller must provide proof via email (info@402exotics.com) with three pictures of the exact deceased animal with at least one of them having the box and label in view and readable within four hours. If shipped to a residence or business (non FedEx Hub), buyer assumes all risks due to late or delayed shipping or weather related issues outside of the control of the seller. DOA’s will be replaced with the same or similar animal. A refund will be given if we don’t have one on hand.
*** Returns and Cancellations ***
Returns and cancellations are accepted on a case by case basis and are subject to a 25% restock fee taken from the refund balance. All returns must be unopened and in new unopened condition. Refunds go back to the original payment method used. If you used a debit or credit card, the refunded amount will go back on that card. All sales are final on live animals as they are not products.
*** HYBRID NON-BREEDING AGREEMENT ***
At the time of taking possession of the HYBRID, the buyer agrees to the following conditions: The HYBRID is sold to be as a PET ONLY and will not be used for breeding purposes, neither by the purchaser nor by any other party. If purchaser sells, loans, or rehomes the HYBRID afterwards, they are to require the new owner to agree to an agreement identical to this one, and they will immediately send notification to info@402exotics.com with the parties involved. In addition, the buyer acknowledges that if the HYBRID is used for breeding purposes, either accidentally or deliberately is going against the non-breeding agreement.
*** Acceptance of our Terms and Conditions of Service ***
By making any payment you are accepting these terms and conditions, and agree to release and hold harmless 402 Exotics LLC from any liability resulting from your purchase.
